Faith Huff represented our school at the 2026 Georgia All-State Chorus

Faith Huff represented our school at the 2026 Georgia All-State Chorus in Athens, Georgia, where she was selected for the Middle School Treble Chorus.

Faith’s journey started back in October with the first audition. She had to prepare and perform a solo and sight-read three different musical examples on the spot. She earned a nearly perfect score in that round, which is not easy to do.

In January, she advanced to the second audition where she performed the prepared music for her selected choir and earned a perfect score. That score secured her place in All-State.

Over the course of three days, Faith joined roughly 2,100 students from across the state of Georgia. Those students were divided into seven choirs:

• Middle Treble (MT)

• Middle Tenor/Bass (MTB)

• Middle Mixed (MX)

• 9th & 10th Grade Mixed (9/10X)

• Senior Treble (ST)

• Senior Tenor/Bass (STB)

• 11th & 12th Grade Mixed (11/12X)

Students rehearsed for hours each day and presented a final concert that truly reflects the highest level of choral excellence in our state.

Being selected for Georgia All-State is one of the highest honors a student musician can earn. Faith worked for this. She prepared. She earned it. And she represented our school well.
